Some of the best Middle Eastern meat pies around. Very light and not overwhelmingly dense.

Best falafel I have ever had! I was out shopping, stopped by to get a takeaway lunch and picked up the falafel plate (small). $6 and change, so great value! Just amazing--fresh and great value--34 good size patties, lettuce, picked turnips, pickles, tomatoes and parsley--with a small tub of tahini sauce and 2 flat bread. I have had a lot of falafel in my day, but I can honestly say this is the best I have had--fresh and not soaked in oil, spices are perfect. Nice friendly staff, too. Going to make it a habit of visiting often.

Tied with New Yasmeen for my favorite Lebonese Bakery in the area. Their cheese, meat, and Zatar Maneesh are the best. Perhaps the strongest selling point is their high turnover. They consistently bring freshly baked ones to the display case. Rarely do I get one that is dry. Also, their chicken and meat shawarma is tasty. They also have baked sweets and other deli items: salad, grape leaves, and more. I tend to stick with my favorites but finally tried the lasagna. It had that home cooked taste and would definitely order again.

We ordered food for breakfast.. we ordered Manaqeesh zaatar, chicken shawarma, meet pies, suju pies, spinach and cheese pies.. service was incredibly fast and staff were so friendly.. Place was clean ... today the suju didn't taste the way it should be although the dough was fresh and everything else was authentic and fresh

Service here is excellent and staff is very friendly. The inside of Saj is a bit cluttered and parking is horrible. Food that's served here is good. The meat, cheese and zaatar pies are great No complaints. They did over salt the shawarma so might want to taste food before they serve. But really have no major complaints. Good place to grab a bite to eat.

I drive past this location all the time and I'm upset with myself for not trying them out sooner! A friend recommended their fresh breads and pies and I knew I had to try them out asap. I got a mix of everything and the staff member was so helpful and welcoming. I believe I got an assortment of 10 pastries and the total came out to $9 -which I was expecting to be much higher. Not only is the food a great value but everything was delicious! The meat pies were seasoned to perfection, the zaatar was stunning, and the spinach and cheese pies left me wanting more. After my first visit I was back within the week for visit number 2. I'll definitely be coming back soon and telling friends/family about this spot. Check out my Instagram from more @hangry_detroiter

Great Lebanese baked goods for anytime of the day. Note the new hours. On this sunday morning, everyone was here to pick up some goodies for brunch. I recommend ordering freely with the reasonable prices and invite a bunch of friends to enjoy these delightful pastries. Baked fresh on the premises. Some items you will find: meat pie squares, spinach triangles, broccoli "sticks", and cheese "dumplings." Zatar is wonderful savory spice blend. Kibbeh, cracked wheat fritters with meat filling. Just go with what catches your eye as I spend $20 and walked out with twenty pastries and a fresh squeezed OJ. Efficient friendly staff. To place an order grab a ticket number, ot when it is crowded wait on line. Once you place an order, you can proceed to the cashier. Sadly, I missed the sweets section as it is in a showcase past the registers. Inside seating available, but this place can be bustling so consider take out.

Very popular place for lunch. Fresh made manaeesh and they have a lot of middle eastern/European sweets and candies Lunch time is pretty busy so beware. Service is pretty quick if you don't order a lot

I grew up down the street from here and it was our goto Lebanese bakery for many years. Fun fact, before they opened the space was a whirly ball/arcade. Which I totally loved as a tween, but as an adult? I'm way more into the delicious goods to be found here! Sadly, ever since my mom sold the family home a few years ago I don't get to this side of town as often as I would like, let alone during a pandemic. But I was in the area last week and decided to stop by to get some of the meat pies and hummus that I love. They have a really convenient online ordering system but since I was driving by I didn't plan ahead and I just stopped in. It was later in the evening, shortly before close, but they still had everything I wanted, including my favorite knafeh. Everyone was masked and I was the only customer at the time so I felt super safe. (And you better believe I busted right into those pies the second I got into the car!)

Got a take out lunch. The online ordering was really nice. You could either create an account or just use Apple ID. I really like the fact that the menu had pictures. The shop was well maintained and clean, they had hand sanitizers and paper for opening the doors. . They had verity of hot Mediterranean food, sweets, olives, olive oil, breads etc. Looks like they did have seating area but closed because of the COVID thing. The food was fresh, the mini pies are cute, especially for the kids. As a vegetarian I thought they had a good amount of choice. The veggie Lebanese pizza was awesome.. I think this would be perfect for me for a work day lunch take out or dinner with family.. they also do offer catering sizes for parties and stuff. Love it love it..
